When there is nothing on the tray, the tray inclines so that the tip of the tray is moved to an upper position by the board spring (a). There is pin (b) between the pins around the circumference of turning disk (c), which disturbs the rotation of (c), that is, the movement of the doll is stopped. When a teacup is put on the tray, pin (b) moves up and away from the pins around the circumference of (c), (c) turns and the doll moves forward.
