(11)-1 Coaxial inverse rotary motions using spur gears
All rotating disks and a ring express spur gears, omitting the shape of the teeth. The largest pink ring is an internal gear, and other two disks are external gears. The rotation of the blue gear is transmitted to the pink ring as the coaxial inverse rotation, through the yellow gear. [Animation: DI JING, Graduate school of informatics, May 2000]
