もどる Abstract:It was during the Meiji era (1868-1912) that Japan became a modern industrialized country. There is much technological and industrial heritage that was obtained in the process of education and research at Kyoto University that was founded in 1897. Although this heritage is important not only to Kyoto University but to the technological and industrial history of Japan, recognition of it by the Japanese is low and therefore sufficient preservation measures have not been taken. The distribution and abandonment of this heritage are of concern, especially when the Engineering Graduate School moves after 2003. Key words: |
