Abstract: We have investigted experimentally the mechanical properties of ArFRP (aramid fiber reinforced plastics) and observed the fracture surfaces. In this study, a diagnostic system of fracture surfaces of ArFRP is developed using the experimental data regarding the character of the fracture surfaces and an object oriented language; Smalltalk-80. The experimental data is used in the system by applying the theory of fuzzy and genetic argorism. This method will be also available in other fields.
