Abstract:Kyoto University was established as 2nd Imperial University in Japan in 1897 of the Meiji era while Japan imported much European and American advanced technology. Therefore, the precious historical data, which lead to today's technology, are preserved at the campus. This collection of data is an important heritage not only to Kyoto University but also to the whole of Japan that is an industrial and technological state. In this research, construction of the database was attempted using Microsoft Access, considering the practical use of Internet in the future and the many languages that the data is composed of.
