Take the following lines to Hyakumanben …
- from JR or Kintetsu railway Kyoto station: 7 or 206
- from Hankyu railway Kawaramachi station: 3, 7, 31, or 201
- from Subway Karasuma line Imadegawa station: 201 or 203
- from Subway Tozai line Higashiyama station: 31, 201, or 206
… then walk 2 minutes due south to the Museum. Please note that parking is not available.
Keihan railway
From Osaka, ride to the end of the line at Demachiyanagi station.
Walk due east along Imadegawa, and turn south at the Hyakumanben intersection. (approx. 15 min on foot)

9:30–16:30 (last entry at 16:00)
on every Wednesday–Sunday, except: Dec 28–Jan 4, Jun 18 (University foundation day), and Wed on the 3rd week of Aug (summer holiday)
Rules inside the museum
Please refrain from the followings:
- Eating or drinking
- Recording movies
- Taking photos using a camera stand or selfie stick, or using flash
- Speaking loud or talking on the phone
- Running around
Please do not touch exhibits or showcases (except for hands-on exhibits).
Please keep your belongings, such as folding umbrellas and hand-held fans which may hit exhibits, stowed in your bag.
